Early Preschool Classroom (12 - 24 Months)
Our early Preschool Classroom is designed for curious toddlers beginning their journey toward independence. This stage is all about exploration, developing social skills, and building the confidence needed to thrive in a group setting.
We create a warm, engaging environment where young children can feel safe, supported, and excited to learn at their own pace.
Growing Independence & Confidence
At this age, children are learning to do things on their own — and we’re here to guide and encourage every step.
Learning self-help skills (washing hands, cleaning up, choosing activities)
Gaining independence with routines and transitions
Building confidence through choices and positive reinforcement

Social, Emotional & Language Development
We focus heavily on social-emotional learning, helping children:
- Practice sharing, taking turns, and using words to express needs
- Learn to regulate big emotions in a safe, supportive space
- Build early friendships and trust with teachers and peers
We’re proud to integrate bilingual learning into our classroom through everyday routines and activities. Children are introduced to:
- American Sign Language (ASL) to support early communication and reduce frustration
- Spanish vocabulary through songs, stories, and interactive play
These language experiences support brain development and lay a foundation for cultural awareness and communication.

Potty Training Support
Potty training is a big milestone at this age! We partner with families to create a consistent and positive potty training experience tailored to each child’s readiness and routine.
Play-Based Early Learning
Young toddlers learn best through play. Our activities introduce early concepts through fun and age-appropriate experiences:
- Sensory play, music & movement, art, and story time
- Introduction to colors, shapes, simple counting, and vocabulary
- Daily opportunities for creative expression and discovery
Rest & Routine
Toddlers still need rest to recharge and grow. We provide a consistent nap time each day in a calm, cozy space with individual nap mats or cots.
Family Communication
You’ll receive daily updates through our parent communication app, including notes on meals, naps, potty, activities, and sweet moments from their day. We value open, two-way communication with every family.
